Our passion for high-quality, beautiful bespoke furniture and custom-fitted kitchens continues to give us a wealth of superb connections and to develop, learn, and grow.
Meet the Team
The Arthan Fitted Furniture team of family and friends has grown steadily since being founded by Paul and Agatha over 25 years ago to include many dear friends.
Paul: CEO of Arthan Fitted Furniture and Arthan Kitchens. A technical education teacher with over two decades of custom furniture building and architectural details. Specialises in period-inspired wood carpentry, interiors, and furniture.
Agatha: Co-founder and head designer of Arthan Kitchens and Arthan Fitted Furniture with over two decades of experience in interior design. “My passion is mountains, challenges and a slow hike to the top that allows you to enjoy the beauty of what surrounds us. That is why in designing I focus on functionality, simplicity, natural materials and timeless solutions.”
Izabela: Our showroom manager with a passion for furniture manufacturing and design.
She would make a very good installer too but we need her other talents more! Very well organised, and will take care and make sure everything goes as planned with your order.
Jana: Our youngest, talented and enthusiastic designer, with experience in 3D design and visual strategy. Extremely patient and kind, Jana is best known to bring a modern touch into our client’s design.
Jana Considers herself a “forever student”, eager to learn to both built her academic foundations in Product Design and stays in tune with the latest designing methods. She loves designing kitchens as much as cooking so she surely knows how to use a kitchen to produce very fine and beautifully presented dishes as well.
Ola: The newest member of our team. Ola is an experienced Interior Designer with a very good eye for detail. In our company she is in charge of preparing designs for production and making sure your furniture will be exactly as agreed. You will most likely meet her taking final measurements of your order.
Nick: Our senior installer with over 30 years of experience in furniture manufacturing and installation. Nick joined our team at the early stages of Arthan Furniture and we are happy to have him ever since. He
knows everything about all our kitchens, furniture and much more. His attention to detail is immaculate.
Other than furniture making he loves fishing and travelling.
Gerald: Installer. A carpenter by trade since he left school cummulating in almost 4 decades of experience. He likes holidays + weekends away with his wife as well as being outdoors walking his dog taking in the scenery and nature around him. Together with his son, he supports his local football team.
Daniel: Apprentice. Daniel is learning and liking it more every day! Quite likely you might meet him helping one of our installers. He’s an intelligent, curious individual with a knack for fixing computers, tools and various equipment. In his free time he loves playing the piano.
The Next Generation of Arthan Academy Apprentices
Paul originally began building furniture after discovering that his grandfather owned a furniture factory, so we owe much of our technical expertise and business knowledge within the industry to the generations that came before us.
It only makes sense that we impart what we ourselves have learnt to the up and coming generation of apprentices. That’s why we hold workshops, courses, and seminars from our Arthan Academy located in our Cambridge workshop and Showroom.
